The recital begins at 16h30, followed by dinner at 18h30
We are delighted to announce a forthcoming concert-dinner at Cercle Münster on 1 February 2025 featuring our member and professional tenor, Alexander Gebhard. Alexander is not just an alumnus and member of Oxford (St Edmund Hall, 2016), but also of Cambridge (Trinity College, 2012), and the OUSL is therefore arranging this event on behalf of both societies.
Recital: Alexander will sing Schubert’s beautiful song cycle ‘Winterrereise’, composed for tenor and piano. He will be accompanied by pianist Grégoire Baumberger. Both are professional musicians with an impressive range of concerts to their names.
Dinner & menu: After the recital, we will enjoy an apéro with amuses bouches followed by a three-course dinner:
Gravlax de saumon d’Ecosse, sablé aux noix de Grenoble, crème fouettée au vieux parmesan.
L’Agneau en 2 façons (braisé et côtelette), pressé de légumes, jus au vinaigre balsamique.
Entremet chocolat à la fève de tonka
