You are cordially invited to a
Guided tour to Villeroy & Boch in Mettlach, and lunch at Schloß Saareck.
Saturday 12 April 2025, start at 10am.
The Oxford University Society of Luxembourg is delighted to invite you to an exclusive visit of the historic site of Villeroy & Boch in Mettlach in Germany – just across the Luxembourgish border. Founded in Audun-le-Tiche, France, near Luxembourg, Villeroy & Boch has operated in Mettlach since 1812.
After the guided tour (in English) of the headquarters we will repair for lunch, at the exclusive Schloß Saareck nearby.
We are privileged that Baron Paul de Schorlemer, Chairman of the Family Council of Villeroy & Boch and member of the founding family, has kindly offered to accompany us on our day in Mettlach.

Schloß Saareck, once a Boch family residence, now serves as a Villeroy & Boch guesthouse and is not normally open to the public
